I appreciate seeing someone express their opinions about tasting your way to a great wine. When I was in Priorat a few years back, I kept asking questions about the numbers involved. Bodega after bodega I visited kept banging my head with one mantra,'this is wine. this is not numbers. this is about the taste and pleasure, not endless calculations'.
